Local Educational Consultant Receives National Recognition | Yesim Erez Honored with IECA’s Making a Difference Award

The Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) has recognized Yesim Erez of Admittance Education (https://admittanceeducation.com/) with its annual Making a Difference Award. Erez is one of only four independent educational consultants (IECs) chosen from among the association’s 2,600 members to receive the award.

The Making a Difference Award recognizes an individual’s selfless volunteer efforts that have made a difference in the work of the association’s members this year. Erez was honored for her outreach to independent educational consultants and related professionals in Turkey, expanding the association’s international community.

The Making a Difference Awards were presented by Ibrahim Firat, IECA board president, during the organization’s Fall Conference (November 7-9, 2022 in San Diego), which was attended by more than 1,000 independent educational consultants and college, school, and therapeutic program representatives.

“Our Making a Difference awardees have fostered connections and community among IECA members, and shared resources benefiting all members’ IEC practices,” said IECA CEO Mark Sklarow. “Their collegiality and generosity are hallmarks of IECA.”
